Seattle, Washington

Just back from Seattle, Washington for a writer's showcase. We had great fun. I got to meet authors face to face that I'd only seen on Facebook. Loved the city of Seattle and Bainbridge Island. I'm thinking I want to set a story there soon. :) I had big dreams of getting some writing done tonight, but I think I will goof off and get back to the grind tomorrow. Oh in case you're wondering, this place is Chihuly Garden where there are elaborate sculptures made from blown glass. They are amazing, and the picture just doesn't do it justice.

What I'm Doing

What am I doing right now? I'm sitting at my desk, stuck in the house, and eating a homemade cheeseburger. The dog is lying at my feet, and I'm staring at a blank page. Correction, I did write the title which is Can't Buy Your Love. This one is a Christmas story for Amira Press. I skipped over my sequel to For Toron's Pride to write this one. Here it is the middle of summer, and I'm about to write in some snow and hot cocoa to give my readers the warm and fuzzies for December. When I'm done with that, I'll switch gears and write In Hawke's Eyes, the sequel to Toron's story. Okay, I've wasted enough time. Back to writing. Happy day, everyone. (Crap, now I want cookies...)
