Working Title: The Bribe and the Baby

I'm not certain of this title yet, and neither am I finished working this blurb. You can get an idea of what I'm thinking about though. Here's a sneak peek at the sequel to Planning His Wedding:

The Bribe and the Baby

Willem betrayed Neena, and Neena betrayed him right back. Then she left town pregnant with his baby. When she returns four years later, she claims her son isn't his. Not even her best friend Shona believes her.

When Willem learns about Neena's son, he's determined to find out if the boy is his, even if it means rekindling things between them. Willem's family didn't stay out of their business four years ago, and they refuse to stay quiet now. They want Neena's son, but she'll fight to protect him. She refuses to let Willem hurt her again or forgive the mistakes of the past.

Coming in late January/February.

Planning His Wedding

Y'all! The last few weeks have been a CHALLENGE! My computer has been having problems for a long time, and I kept dealing with it. I'm talking about running really slow. Then it got to the point where I had to reinstall the operating system.

Then it stopped working.

I tried to reinstall the OP again, and guess what. I deleted my whole harddrive by mistake! SOB!!!! Plus, I hadn't backed up my computer in over a year. So I lost all the books and covers I had written and created since then, in addition to half of a book I had plotted. Well, I always upload a book to my Google Drive. (The half plot is gone forever.)

I lost Photoshop, which I use to create covers. (Rolling on the floor sucking thumb like an infant. ) So if you think my current cover is questionable in quality, I'm sorry. I'm learning a new program because Photoshop costs a fortune if you don't want a monthly charge to use it.

Anywho, enough whining. Here is my latest book. I hope you enjoy it.

Shona Wells and Micah Reed have been friends since college. Everyone knows Shona loves Micah, but what does Micah feel for her? Blended Blues

Hello, my friends and readers,

I hope your new year is going well! It's been a few months since I put out a book. I had a few health challenges and had to have surgery. I thought I was going to get this latest book done in time. Unfortunately, the closer I got to my surgery date, the more anxious I became. I couldn't make myself reach my deadline.

My idea this time is to explore a relationship where the man is a bit jaded and gun-shy. He's been hurt almost to the point of destroying his belief in women. Cameron had concentrated on raising his daughter, and he's done great. Well, sort of. He's a little too soft on his smart-mouthed preteen.

Zakkiyah has also been hurt, but she's kind of approaching her challenges a different way. She's wild, unpredictable, and all about fun. That is, until she's called into court to settle a custody dispute for her infant nephew. Zakkiyah doesn't seem like she'd ever make a good mom. I mean throughout the book, she sticks to her offbeat ways.

I think Blended Blues could be an enjoyable read for you. Check out the blurb below. Also, if you would like to see me tackle a subject you've never seem me write, please, by all means, contact me. I might be open to try something new. Of course, I have my own preferences, as you've probably gathered over the years.

I like heroines who don't have it all together because let's face it, most of us don't have it all together. I like to think that right in the midst of making our lives work, we find that One Man, who's just for us.

Did I ever tell you, readers? I got married a little over a year ago myself. My sweet husband is so wonderful too. Don't get me wrong, marriage is a challenge. When you know you've chosen well and right, you stand through it all. I'm happy!

Okay, without further ado, here's Blended Blues. Ladies and gentleman, please note I'm using an affiliate link below. If you click on it and buy something, you aren't charged extra. I make a tiny (super tiny!!) commission. Thanks for clicking and buying anyway. I much appreciate you! :o)
